do. Life can be about growth and learning and getting better each day. It makes us feel young and alive when we are willing to take risks and be a beginner. It makes us feel silly not to know how to use a machine when it seems every little toned body in the gym knows how to use it perfectly. This is not an excuse not to try. I love watching my kids try new things. They just go for it. They could care less how silly they look. They want to learn and grow and try and get better. You can be just like this if you are willing to start where you are and encourage yourself each time. It builds courage, it helps you overcome fear, and it develops your individ- ual source of control because you don’t pay attention to what anyone else thinks. You aren’t in the gym to prove anything to anyone but yourself. A good example of me being willing to suck really bad is when I learned how to play golf. I wanted to learn how to golf so I could hang out with my husband. He Geve1 L^e1cise +o1 Wast ResDlts ! 78 Teing willing to sDcX at things is one sec1et to an e^citement`+illeC li+e.
