The extent you don’t know what it is you want is the extent you won’t ever get it. Many times we are so busy surviving our daily, busy lives we don’t stop to consider our dreams. We believe we will never be able to get what we want so we think daydreaming is frivo- lous. We have two kids and a mortgage after all. I assure you it is not frivolous; in fact, it is required. You are programmed to find your destiny, and if you pay attention, you will. Getting what you want out of life is not tiring or exhausting, it is energizing. Many times, I hear that my clients can’t go after what they want because they don’t have any energy left. I tell them they are exhausted because they are swimming against their own current. They are tired of fighting themselves, ignoring their dreams, and participating in a life that doesn’t feed their soul. Going after what you want will not deplete you; it will add more energy to your life than you knew you had. Exercise: • Make a list of twenty-five things you want. (Do not skip this one. List all twenty-five—do it now.) QaXe MoD1 WDtD1e SaYYenfUon’t Let It SaYYen to MoD ! 191
