It’s all o1 nothing. I al1eaCy blew it. I am not gooC at it. It’s bo1ing. I Con’t +eel liXe it. My favorite client excuse, and by far the most com- mon one I hear, is that there isn’t enough time. Twenty-four hours is enough. We all have twenty-four hours no matter how busy or important we are. The truth is we all have enough time, we just chose not to use it. My trainer opens his gym at 3:30 a.m. and the place is packed. These people are making time. They are not accepting excuses. They are not being victims of their schedule, but rather taking control and making the time they need. The truth is that most of us don’t need to work out in the middle of the night to accom- plish our minimum. It is time to check your priorities. Psst. Without your health, you are not here, and then you really don’t have any time. This process will allow you to flex some physical mus- cle on a regular basis, but it will also provide you with an amazing emotional and motivational tool to take control of your own life and never hand your power over to an excuse again. 65 • If IAm So Smart, Why Can’t I Lose Weight?
