This simple act of writing down excuses has been an enlightening tool in many of my clients’ lives. Many of their reasons seem illogical and ridiculous when writ- ten in ink. I had a client who said she couldn’t eat fuel food because her cafeteria didn’t offer good choices. I told her that I didn’t think people credited their work cafeteria for their fabulous figure and she might have to bring her lunch to work. It was an astounding idea to her; so shockingly, she hadn’t considered it. She told me she didn’t have enough time to make her lunch because her life was already so busy. I told her that I thought it was a lame excuse, not to mention a terrible belief that wasn’t true. She agreed once she saw it writ- ten down on her list, started making her lunch, and immediately lost three pounds in five days! What excuses do you have that you don’t realize you have? Think about them and write them down now. QaXe MoD1 WDtD1e SaYYenfUon’t Let It SaYYen to MoD ! #07 L^cDses a1e 1eally little white lies CisgDiseC as 1eality.
