Insulin is by far the most important. Ghrelin and leptin are in second place of importance. I will give you an overview of all three. Insulin is the hormone that regulates your blood sugar. It's a very, very good hormone and you want to have it in your body. Type 1 diabetics don't have enough insulin, and without it they will literally starve and die. They take it daily in order to stay alive. So before I start to vilify it, know that it's a keeper and we need it. Hunger is not an emergency.
